Facts:
1. The appellant was heard on 23/7/2008.
2. The appellant has asked for certain information relating to redressal of grievances in respect of an employee of the respondent. He had sought to know the reasons for non-payment of arrears to her and related issues.
3. The PIO and the appellate authority have replied. But, the appellant is not satisfied, as the grievances of the person about whom he had made queries, has not been redressed.
Decision:
4. The appellant had asked for information relating to another person. There is no reason why an affected person should not seek information about himself or herself. Since it is difficult to assess the motive of information seeker, who has i i " If you don't ask, you don't get". - Mahatma Gandhi 1 sought for information about another person, it would be advisable if the concerned person seeks to know as to why her grievances has not been redressed. The appellant is accordingly advised.
5. The appeal is thus disposed of.
