Section 187(1) in The Mizoram Autonomous District Council (Constitution and Conduct of Business of the District Councils) Rules, 1974
(1)An election petition may be withdraw only by leave of the Commissioner or if an application for withdrawal is made before any Commissioner appointed as such by the Government.
