Section 20(2) in The Gujarat Emergency Medical Services Act, 2007
(2)Every City Council and every District Council shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue or be sued in its corporate name and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, be competent to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immoveable, and to enter into contract and do all things necessary for the purposes of this Act.
