Section 1 in The Shillong Electric Supply Undertaking (Acquisition) Act, 1977
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Shillong Electric Supply Undertaking (Acquisition) Act, 1977.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Meghalaya.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th day of July, 1977.
