4. This petition is filed for quashing of the FIR No.57/2020 registered at police station Barakhamba Road, New Delhi under Section 406/420 IPC.

5. Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice and seeks to file status report. As sought, status report be filed within four weeks from today with an advance copy thereof to the learned counsel for petitioner through email.

6. Since the contract relates to the year 2006 and respondent No.2 had failed to clear the outstanding dues/instalments from January 2009 onwards and despite issuance of public notice dated 20.10.2011 in Tribune, Chandigarh calling upon the respondent No.2 to clear the pending dues before 31.10.2011, he failed to comply with the notice, hence, his registration was cancelled and the land was re-allotted.

7. Notice be also issued to the respondent No.2 through all modes/ email / whatsapp returnable for next date of hearing.

8. List on 04.03.2021. No coercive steps be taken against the petitioner till the next date of hearing and he shall join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer.

9. Copy of this order be communicated electronically to the SHO concerned for information and compliance.
