Section 7 in Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University Act, 2008

7. Vice-Chancellor.

(1)The Vice-Chancellor shall be the whole time officer of the University and shall be appointed [by the Government] [Sustituted by G.O. Ms. No. 28, Higher Education (UE) Department, dated 11.09.2015.] in the manner specified in the Schedule.
(2)The term of office, emoluments and other conditions of service, the powers and functions of the Vice¬Chancellor shall be as specified in the Schedule.
