Section 24(1) in Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jaipur Act, 2012
(1)There shall be an Academic Council of the University, consisting of the following as members, namely: -(a)the Vice-Chancellor Ex-officio Chairman;(b)the Pro-Vice-Chancellor;(c)Deans of Faculties;(d)one Professor from each faculty to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;(e)the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Information and Public Relations Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;(f)the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Higher Education Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;(g)Chairmen, Boards of Studies;(h)two persons having special attainment in the field of studies not being employees of the University, one to be nominated by the Chancellor and the other by the State Government; and(i)the Registrar of the University, Member-Secretary.
