101. Enquiry to be made by the Divisional Forest Officer.
- On receipt of an application under rule 100, the Divisional Forest Officer, after making such enquiries as he deems necessary, regarding the applicant's title to the sandalwood timber, shall, on the conclusion of such enquiries, issue the necessary permission if the timber is found to belong to the applicant.
