Section 3(b) in Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board Transfer Scheme Rules, 2008
(b)"Board" means Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board constituted under Section 5 (i) of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 (54 of 1948) which is also functioning as deemed State Transmission Utility and a Licensee as per Section 172(a) of the Electricity Act, 2003;
