(1)The Vice-President shall hold office for the period mentioned in section 10.(2)If the Vice-President dies or resigns his office or ceases to hold office, the State Government shall nominate another Vice-President in such manner as may be prescribed, and such Vice-President shall hold office for the unexpired period of the term of office of the former Vice-President whose office he fills.
