(2)A copy of the statement in Form VIII shall be forwarded immediately by the Collector to the landowner/tenant under cover of an endorsement prescribed in the Form and it shall be served upon the landowner/tenant as if it where a summons in the manner prescribed in section 90 of the Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887.
