Section 13(1)(a) in The Gujarat Agricultural Pests and Diseases Act, 1980

(a)call upon all male persons not below the age of 18 and above the age of 60 years and residing in the notified areas to render all possible assistance in carrying out preventive or remedial measures and in the destruction of locusts:
