2. The said notification shall come into force from the date of publication of this Notification in the official Gazette.
AnnexureChennai Port TrustIn exercise of the powers conferred under Section 123 of the Major Port Trust Act, 1963 (Act 38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of Chennai Port hereby frames, subject to the approval of the Central Government, the following Regulations in supersession of the eXisting Madras Port Trust (Licensing of Stevedores) Regulations 1987 and subject to publication as required under Section 124 of the said Act :-
