Information sought:
The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 04.06.2019 seeking the following information:
".........Provide the copy of the answer sheet of above student named Umisha Rohilla for the paper of Physics and Chemistry pertaining to 10+2 (Non Medical) class whose result has been declared on dated 02.05.2019."
The CPIO informed the appellant on 29.06.2019 that:-
"........... for obtaining the photocopy of answer book under RTI Act 2005 you are required to remit photocopy charges of Rs.2/- per page alongwith postal/handling charges as per following details:
You are, therefore, requested to remit the fee as per above details at the earliest either in the form of 1PO, DD (in favour of the Secretary, CBSE payable at Panchkula) or remit cash in the cash Counter (at CBSE, R.O., Sector-5, Panchkula) so that the photocopy of above answer sheet may be provided to you. Kindly note that:
As per CBSE notification dated 02-05-2019 and 07-05-2019 in case a candidate wants to apply for the re-evaluation only those candidates who have applied for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book shall be eligible to apply for revaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any question.
❖ No application for revaluation will be entertained on the basis of information provided through this letter. Candidate is also requested to enclose self attested photocopy of admit card of the concerned examination along with his/her application. For complete process of verification, obtaining copies and re-evaluation, you 2 may refer to the notification dated 02-05-2019 and 07-05-2019 available on Board's website i.e. www.cbse.nic.in. "
Being dissatisfied, the appellant filed a First Appeal dated 12.07.2019. FAA's order dated 02.08.2019 upheld the reply of CPIO and also annexed the reply copy. Feeling aggrieved and dissatisfied, appellant approached the Commission with the instant Second Appeal.

Appellant: Not present.
Respondent: Pooja, Sr. Hindi Translator & Rep of CPIO present through audio conference.
The Commission remarked upon a perusal of the facts on record that the Appellant has intimated vide his letter dated 01.06.2021 that he has received his answer scripts in July 2019 and is satisfied now, therefore wishes to withdraw the instant Appeal.
Decision The Commission accepts the prayer of the Appellant and closes the case.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
