Considering the fact that the incident had occurred in the year 1972-73 and 76-77 and that all the officers had put signature in the relevant documents and the amount involved is only Rs.16,451/- and that the employee has retired from service, we find no reason to interfere with the discretion exercised by the Tribunal. Writ petition lacks merits. Hence dismissed.
