88. Forfeited holdings may be taken possession of and otherwise disposed.
- The [Tahsildar] [Substituted by Act 5 of 1970 w.e.f. 23.10.1969.] may, in the event of the forfeiture of the holding through any default in payment or other failure occasioning such forfeiture under section 87 or any law for the time being in force, take immediate possession of such holding and dispose of the same by placing it in the possession of the purchaser or other person entitled to hold it according to the provisions of this Act or any other law for the time being in force.
