COMMON ORDER:

This application is filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.77 of 2020, pending on the file of Amberpet Police Station, Hyderabad. The petitioner is accused in the above crime. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 417, 420, 376(2)(v) IPC and Section 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (POA) Act.

2. Learned counsel submitted that during pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the petitioner and the de facto complainant have compromised the matter and, accordingly, respondent No.2-complainant filed I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2020 to permit her to compound the offences.

3. Sri V.Rajender Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Bh. Saivikas, counsel representing Sri A.Ravibabu, counsel for the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant that the petitioner and the 2nd respondent are staying together and they got married, in proof of the same, they filed marriage certificate dated 24.02.2020 issued by Arya Samaj.

Vide order dated 19.10.2020, this Court, after recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondent No.2, directed the parties to appear before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court for their identification and also directed the Registrar (Judicial) to submit a report by 02.11.2020. In compliance with the said order, the Registrar (Judicial) has submitted his report dated 23.10.2020.

In the report of the Registrar (Judicial) dated 23.10.2020, it is stated that on oral examination, respondent No.2 has stated that she had filed a complaint against the petitioner in FIR No.77 of 2020, P.S. Amberpet, Hyderabad and that now she has approached the High Court for recording the compromise. The joint memo of compromise and the report of the Registrar (Judicial) are placed on record.

6. Recording the above submission, and in view of the compromise entered between the parties, I.A. Nos.2 and 3 of 2020 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.77 of 2020 pending on the file of Amberpet Police Station, Hyderabad are hereby quashed.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
