11. Compounding an offence.
- On the application of a person accused of an offence under this Act, or any rule or order made thereunder, the Commissioner or any authority or Officer authorized by him in this behalf may, at any stage, compound such offence by levying a compounding fee not exceeding rupees ten thousand.
