(2)A person may apply afresh on his promotion for induction in the Bureau and in such case he/she would be entitled to a further term of two years extendable to a limit of six years as mentioned in t he sub-rule (1):Provided that as soon as the person is promoted in the parent cadre on a post carrying higher pay-scale than the post held by him/her under these rules, he/she shall be reverted back to the parent Department immediately unless his/her retention in the promoted rank is approved by the Appointing Authority.
