Section 3(2) in The U.P. State Electricity Board Establishments (Entry, Exit and Search) Regulations, 1974
(2)A workman shall be liable to be searched, while entering or while he is within the premises of an establishment, by the gateman or by any other person duly authorised by the competent authority for the purpose.
