(2)Collector and other officers may assist purchases in cutting and removing reserved trees. It shall be lawful for the Collector, any Forest Officer or Police Officer to render assistance to a purchaser, lessee or other transferee of such trees or any person acting on his behalf in the cutting, lopping, injuring, appropriating or removing of the same.
