1. Learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr.Dhawan Jayswal for the respondent No.1 states at bar that the respondent No.1-Principal Secretary, Industries and Mines Department has instructed him that the proposal from the Office of the Commissioner (Geology and Mining) has been revived for extension of time limit from 24.11.2019 for grant of letter of intent. He further states that as the matter is of policy decision, approval from the Apex Authority i.e. Chief Minister of the State is required under the rules of business and respondent No.1 is awaiting such Page 1 of 2 Downloaded on : Sat Aug 22 07:49:18 IST 2020 C/SCA/19745/2019 ORDER approval.

2. In view of the aforesaid, request is made that these matters may be adjourned to 9th December, 2019, so that necessary orders for extension can be placed on record.

3. In view of the aforesaid statement, the matters are adjourned to 9th December, 2019 with a rider that if on that day order for extension is not produced on record, the Court shall be compelled to pass necessary orders for extension of time for grant of letter of intent by the respondents.
