Section 54 in The Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Rules, 2010
54. Election to more than one seat.
- If a person is elected to more than one seat, then within the period of fourteen days from the date of his election, he shall resign all but one of the seats in writing addressed to the Registrar or to any Officer authorized by him in this behalf, on receipt of such resignation or on the seats becoming vacant as aforesaid, the Registrar shall declare the candidate from the constituency or constituencies concerned securing the next higher number of votes as duly elected.
