Section 44(8)(a) in The Gujarat Emergency Medical Services Act, 2007

(a)Where an ambulance vehicle manifests an evidence of a mechanical or equipment deficiency which poses a significant threat to the health or safety of patient or crew, the holder of the licence shall immediately withdraw the vehicle from operation.
