Section 4(1) in Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Procedure for Declaration of Centre of Excellence) Rules, 2014
(1)The Committee shall have the following powers, namely:-(a)to give its evaluation in numerical values in the scale of 0 to 10 for the different parameters of evaluation mentioned in Appendix I;.(b)to recommend explicitly to the State Government the eligibility or otherwise for conferring the status of the 'Center of Excellence' to the applicant College, Institution or the private University, in Form "C" as specified in the Appendix I.
