Section 3(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Rules, 1973
(1)In these rules unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-(a)"Act" means the Himachal Pradesh Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1971; (20 of 1971).(b)"Committee" means a village committee specially appointed by the consolidation officer in respect of any estate or group of estates for consolidation of holdings; and(c)"section" means a section of the said Act.
