Section 44(8) in The Gujarat Emergency Medical Services Act, 2007
(8)(a)Where an ambulance vehicle manifests an evidence of a mechanical or equipment deficiency which poses a significant threat to the health or safety of patient or crew, the holder of the licence shall immediately withdraw the vehicle from operation.(b)No ambulance vehicle, which has been withdrawn from operation, shall be operated as an ambulance until the deficiency has been corrected.
