107. Filling of half yearly returns to the Auditor by the Marketing Board.
- In order to enable the Auditor to recover all the amount covered by the surcharge certificates issued by him, a half yearly return shall be sent by the Marketing Board to the Auditor and the State Marketing Officer. The action taken to effect the recoveries shall be specified in the return. The return for each half year shall include all surcharges outstanding at the end of the half year and shall be sent to the Auditor by the 10th day of the month succeeding the half year to which the return relates. The return shall contain detailed information regarding the stage of recovery of amounts due and they shall be sent with a certificate that the recovery of the amounts has not become time-barred. Where no amount is pending recovery, a 'NIL' return shall be sent. As soon as an amount is completely recovered, the Marketing Board shall report the fact to the Auditor and the State Marketing Officer.
