Section 1 in The M.P. Kolahal Niyantran Adhiniyam, 1985
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Kolahal Niyantran Adhiniyam, 1985.(2)It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.(3)It shall be in force in all such areas of Madhya Pradesh in which the Madhya Pradesh Control of Music and Noises Act, Samvat 2008 (No. 14 of 1951) was in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, and shall come into force in other areas on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.
