- [4.1] (a) The Provost shall be appointed by the Governing Body out of the panel of three persons recommended by the Search Committee consisting of the following members, and shall, subject to the provisions of sub-Section (6), hold office for a term of three years:-(i)an eminent professional to be nominated by the Board of Management;(ii)an eminent educationalist to be nominated by the Board of Management; and(iii)one member of the Board of Management to be nominated by the President:
