Section 20 in The Gujarat Agricultural Pests and Diseases Act, 1980
20. Bar of suit or other legal proceedings.
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person in respect of anything in good faith done or intended to be done under or in pursuance of this Act, or for any damage caused by any action taken in good faith in carrying out the provisions of this Act.(2)No prosecution under this Act, shall be commenced without the previous sanction of the Collector, nor after six months from the date of the commission of the alleged offence.
