Shri Alok Katare, learned counsel for Election Commission of India/Intervenor.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the election petitioner that he be granted two weeks' time to file reply to urgent hearing application filed by learned counsel for the intervenor.

Shri Alok Katare, learned counsel appearing for the intervenor, submits that earlier on two occasions time was granted but reply has not been filed till date. Looking to the ensuing Legislative Assembly election, EVM machines are immediately required. It is further submitted that the controversy involved in the present matter is with regard to misuse of EVM machines.

Considering the aforesaid, in the interest of justice, last opportunity is granted.
