Shri. Akash Sharma, learned counsel for State has pointed out that all these petitions which involve similar issue in identical fact situation have become infructuous as nothing survives in these petitions with the lapse of time.
Having examined the record, it is noticed that the petitioners were granted licence for running the liquor shop for the year 2005-2006 and in some of the cases the licence was renewed for the year 2006-2007. The dispute in the writ petitions was in respect of location of liquor shop in the prohibited area.
The dispute relates to the licence which was granted almost 12 years back. It has been informed by learned counsel for State that the licence period was over long 2 WP No.1509/2007,1511/2007,1512/2007, 1513/2007,1514/2007 & WP No.1515/2007 back.
In view of this, nothing survives in these writ petitions which are accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
The signed order be placed in the record of WP No.1509/2007 and copy whereof be placed in the record of connected Writ Petitions.
