10. Functional Allowance.
-| (i) ProgrammerGrade I (Class I) | Rs. 200 per month |
| (ii) HillAllowance- | 4% of basic pay,maximum Rs. |
| (1) Posted atcentres at an altitude of 1500 metres and over above mean sealevel. | 180 per month. |
| (2) Postal atcentres at an altitude between 1,000 to 1,499 metres above meansea level. | 3% of basic pay,maximum Rs. 150 per month. |
| (iii) Officersposted to Carrier Agents Branch as Sr. Branch Manager/BranchManager (I/C) | Rs. 200 per month. |
| Assistant BranchManager (Sales) | Rs. 150/- permonth |
| (iv) Officers inAudit and Inspection Deptt. Administrative Officers/Asst. Admn.Officers posted at Zonal Headquarter having touring duties to theminimum of 120 days in an year. | Rs. 250 per month |
| (v) EngineeringOfficer :-Asst. Engineeringand Asst. Executive Engineer when posted to project work site forsupervision of work for a minimum period of two weeks in a month. | Rs. 50 per month |
| Note.- Theabove functional allowance shall qualify neither for ProvidentFund nor Gratuity. |
