5. Objects of University.
- The University shall be deemed to have been established and incorporated for the purpose, among others, of -(i)to develop the University into a national centre of teaching, training and research in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and allied fields, including Applied Information Technology;(ii)to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and applied fields, including Applied Information Technology; and(iii)to develop professionals with excellence.
