Ms. Deepika Kumari, learned counsel (through V.C.) and Mr. Deepak Bhandari, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Rajat Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. Mr. Sachin Mohan Singh Mehta, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand/respondents.
3. Petitioners participated in the selection process for the post of Patwari/Lekhpal pursuant to the advertisement dated 14.10.2022.
4. It is the case of the petitioners that though, their name did not fall in the Select List, but, after finalization of the Select List, candidature of 17 candidates of the Select List, has been cancelled for the reason that they did not participate in the training to be commenced from 01.11.2023, therefore, petitioners want their name to be sent for training.
5. Learned State Counsel prays for and is granted four weeks' time to file counter affidavit.
6. Two weeks' time, thereafter, is granted to petitioners to file rejoinder affidavit.
