Section 19(1) in Arunachal Pradesh University Act, 2012
(1)The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and ordinances, coordinate and exercise general supervision other the academic policies of the University. The Academic Council shall keep under review the maintenance of standards of instruction, education, research, training and examination within the University.
