(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act came into force on the 2nd March, 1951. See Local Self Government (Municipal) Department Notification No. 946-986-M-XIII, dated the 28th February, 1951, published in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 28th February, 1951, p. 65.] as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
