(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The allegation in the petition is that freebie in the form of Milch Cows have been granted in the District of Nagapattinam to ineligible persons thus depriving the eligible persons.
2. Learned Government Pleader while referring to the counter affidavits, submits that six such persons were detected and the cows were repossessed and given to the eligible persons. He further states that disciplinary action has been taken against the Assistant Veterinary Surgeon who was found responsible for clearance of the ineligible persons.
3. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is closed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
