The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for seeking compensation as per the eligibility criteria under the Victim Compensation Scheme of 2011 for the victims of acid attacks.
Learned counsel for the respondent-Punjab State Legal Services Authority submits that the compensation as per the relevant policy has already been released to the petitioner/victim.
There is, however, no representation on behalf of the petitioner since 07.08.2019 except the hearing that was fixed for 06.12.2022. It appears that the petitioner has no subsisting grievance.
Dismissed for non-prosecution.
