ORDER
Information sought:
The Appellant filed an RTI Application dated 30.04.2019 seeking information on the following two points:
1) "वष 2017-18 नेह युवा क चंदौल व वाराणसी (उ० ०) YCDP क मो नट रंग रपोट क मा णत त (भौ तक व वतीय नगरानी रपोट )
2) सकुलर सं या - NYKS/Prog. Corl. Programmes/2019/07 दनांक 10.04.2019 के अनुपालन म मो नट रंग रपोट एने सर 1, 2, 3 क मा णत त |"
Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, PIO/ Dy. Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Lucknow vide letter dated 14.05.2019, transferred the instant RTI Application u/s 6(3) of the RTI Act to the PIO/District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Varanasi and endorsed a copy of the same to the Appellant. Being dissatisfied, the Page 2 of 4 CIC/NYUKS/A/2019/144082 appellant filed a First Appeal dated 17.06.2019, which has not been adjudicated by the First Appellate Authority as per available record.
Grounds for Second Appeal:
The Appellant filed a Second Appeal u/s 19 of the Act on the ground of non- receipt of information from the Respondent. He requested the Commission to direct the CPIO to provide complete information sought for.
Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
In order to ensure social distancing and prevent the spread of the pandemic, COVID-19, the instant hearing is being scheduled through audio conference after informing both the parties.
The Appellant stated that he has received satisfactory information from the Respondent after receiving the hearing notice from the Commission.
Decision:
Upon perusal of the facts on record as well as on the basis of the proceedings during the hearing, the Commission observes that since the Appellant has avowed that he has received satisfactory information from the Respondent, the Commission finds no further scope of intervention in the instant matter. With the above observations, the instant Second Appeal is disposed of. Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
The Appeal, hereby, stands disposed of.
