CWP No.18901 of 2011 (O&M) 2
It is on record that 4 plots of 1 kanal each at Bahadurgarh (against 605 applications) and 2 plots of 1 kanal each at Palwal (against 149 applications) were reserved for the serving government employees of State of Haryana.
It is grievance of the petitioner that he applied for allotment of a plot against the plots reserved for the government employee of State of Haryana, however, his application was wrongly considered against the general category.
After notice, it has transpired that the petitioner applied for allotment of plot under the Haryana Government Servants' category, at Faridabad, Palwal and Bahadurgarh. However, due to inadvertent omission, his applications for allotment of a plot at Bahadurgarh and Palwal were considered against general category.
At the time of argument, learned senior counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 2 to 4 states that a dummy draw of lots will be conducted for both the places separately at one day. The slips of the eligible candidates will be included in the draw. The petitioner may pick the slip equal to the number of plots to be allotted and if the petitioner's name comes in the said draw of lots, he will be allotted a plot, as per norms.
In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition. The petitioner shall intimate the respondent-authorities, the date and time, when he will be available for conducting such a draw of lots.
