(3)Where the polling station is situated in a ward electors of which have been supplied with identity cards under the provisions of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 issued under Representation of People Act, 1951, the elector shall produce his identity card before the presiding officer or the polling officer authorised by him in this behalf.
