Section 16(1) in The U.P. Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhishthan Niyamavali, 1963
(1)The maternity benefits payable to a woman employee under Section 26 shall be at the rate of her average daily wages calculated on the total wages earned on the days when full time work was done during a period of three months immediately preceding the date on which she has given notice under sub-section (1) of Section 24 or at the rate of Re. 1 per day, whichever is more.
