Section 10(5)(b) in The Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007

(b)any proceeding before such committee shall be deemed to be a judicial proceeding within the meaning of Sections 193 and 228 for the purposes of Section 196 of the Indian Penal Code, (45 of 1860).
