Section 20(1) in Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jaipur Act, 2012
(1)There shall be an Advisory Council of the University which shall consist of the following members, namely: -(i)a person of national eminence in journalism and mass communication, to be appointed by the Chancellor, who shall be the Chairperson of the Advisory Council;(ii)the Vice-Chancellor;(iii)Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Information and Public Relations Department;(iv)the Vice-Chancellor, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur;(v)the Vice-Chancellor, Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota;(vi)the Director, LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur;(vii)Dean, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur;(viii)Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur;(ix)five academicians in the field of journalism and mass communications, to be nominated by the Chancellor;(x)five eminent persons belonging to the field of journalism and mass communications, to be nominated by the State Government;(xi)the Registrar of the University, Member-Secretary.
