Section 9(a) in The Punjab Motor Spirit (Taxation of Sales) Rules, 1939
(a)[A Petrol Taxation Officer suspending or cancelling a licence under sub-section (1) of section 80 of the Act shall record his reasons for so doing in writing and inform the licencee in writing.
