4.
The object of the University shall be to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit, and endeavor through research, education, training and extension to play a positive role in the socio-economic and cultural development of Arunachal Pradesh and in particular the objects set up in the first Scheduled to the Act.
