Electricity Department - Take care of the equipments running on electricity on roads, parks and schools.

Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present Appellant : Mr. Rajkumar Tomar Respondent : Mr. Jas Ram Kaim, Public Information Officer & Dy. Director;
The information has been provided to the Appellant as admitted by him, but information was provided in parts and information regarding queries 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 7 should actually have been available suo-motu as per Section-4 of the RTI Act. The Commisison directs the Dy. Commissioner of the Zone to ensure that information sought by the appellanty at queries 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 7 is available on the webstie in pursuance of requirement of Section 4 of the RTI Act.
Decision:
The Appeal is allowed.
The Dy. Commissioner (Shahdara North Zone) is directed to display the information sought by the appellant in queries 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 7 on the website of the department before 30 June 2011.
A compliance report along with the url address where the information has been uploaded would be sent to the Appellant and the Commission before 05 July 2011. This decision is announced in open chamber. Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties. Any information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.
