- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -"Act" means the Indian Boilers Act, 1923 (5 of 1923);"Regulations" means the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950, made by the Central Boilers Board under section 28 of the Act;(c)"Section" means a section of the Act;(d)"The State" means the State of Punjab.
